A few random pictures and such

We take International Talk-Like-A-Pirate Day very seriously around these here parts. Arrrr!

"Oh, she's a spiritual pirate!"

And after a long day of studying, the boys like to make music videos of the Microwave Song.

Well, all silliness aside, this week came at a much slower pace than last week, for which I am exceptionally grateful. Clara and I worked our last Saturday evening shift at Pine Hills last night, and then joined several other devoted Husker fans to watch a rousing football game. I don't think I've ever screamed so loudly in my life.

I've been invited by some missionaries in Ireland to help out with a few weeks of backyard camp. I don't have a lot of information on when it will take place, and choir tour might interfere - plus I don't really know how financial logistics would work out (having money for the trip AND for my senior year at CBI). I am just praying that God would show me clearly what He would have me to do. At this point, I would love to spend the summer in ministry in Ireland, but there are so many variables in this situation that I want the final decision to be truly in God's plan.

The Junior Class had a car wash fund raiser yesterday and we made over $500! This is a huge blessing and we had a good time working together and getting royally sunburned. I resemble a lobster at present.

Well, I'd better go get some homework done before music practice this evening. Have a swell day!

BLAH! A bearded, er, goateed woman!

Dare I ask what the microwave song is? I'm out of the loop as usual.

A female pirate with jewelry and a beard. Very original.
