Yo ho ho and a bottle of...orange cream soda! Happy day-after-Talk-Like-a-Pirate Day! The entire school united in the name of piracy by dressing up as a swashbuckling crew for morning classes. That's just one of the reasons why this school is so neat - everybody gets into the fun! Clara took lots of pictures (I look scary!) and I'll have to post some of those later.
This week has been insane. I had to take three difficult tests, do a missions presentation, teach the lesson at AWANA, play the keyboard for chapel, and work work work work. I have to admit that due to extreme exhaustion, I had a rather stinky attitude about going to work yesterday. The Lord worked in spite of my attitude, however, as one of my co-workers expressed an interest in doing a Bible study with me. She has three kids and goes to the Catholic church but admits to not knowing very much about the Bible. I offered to take her kids to AWANA (she lives close to the school, so that's helpful), and said that I would try to get a Bible study figured out. I've been praying for the opportunity to disciple somebody, and now that the opportunity has been plopped into my lap, I'm scared! :-) Prayers for God's will to be done in this situation are greatly appreciated.
So, anyways, it's been a rather intense week around these here parts, and I'm really looking forward to a restful Sunday tomorrow (after I play for the worship service...phew!).
