I'm in my fourth week at Cornerstone and I'm enjoying it more and more. The homework load has momentarily subsided (or else I'm getting more organized - one or the other) and so I'm having time to pursue larger projects like my much-anticipated research paper. I'm planning on writing about indigenous hymnology and I'm getting really excited about it.
We had our first ABC club this past Monday! It was a wonderful club with 19 children from K-%th grade attending. All of the children were very well-behaved and eager to take part in the club. One little girl named Jenna received Christ as her Savior! Praise the Lord! My teammates, Melinda, Levi, Rachel and Jake, and I worked exceptionally well together. It was such and encouraging and motivating experience. I'm definitely looking forward to next week.
Would you mind praying for a fellow student of mine named Jenny? She is going through some really discouraging times as she is the only saved person in her family. I'm praying that she will be able to overcome any bitterness and be able to cling more tightly to Jesus.
Have a loverly evening!
